Nextie Fatbike Wheels
Here are a pair of Nextie fatbike wheels we recently built for a customer. We used the Nextie Wild Dragon II 90mm tubeless ready rim and Hope Fatsno hubs. Darren commented the rims were the best fat bike rims ha had built in either carbon or alloy and he was impressed by them.
The Nextie Wild Dragon II 90mm wide rim is 650g and our customer opted for a matt finish and no decals. Sapim Race black spokes and Hope Fatsno hubs with a 135 front and 190mm rear. A strip of Gorilla tape can be run round the central nipple holes to seal them up and they can be run tubeless. This pair are off to France to be ridden in the snow high in the Alps at pressures as low as 4 psi!
