Training with a PowerTap can have a huge benefit on your cycling performance.We build our Powertap wheels onsite with G3 hub, DT Swiss R460 rims and a DT Swiss 350 front hub. These are cheaper than Wiggle with a TRUE for LIFE warranty.We are happy to recommend using any of the alloy rims we stock – the Mavic OpenPro, H Plus Son Archetype, SL42 or Velocity Major Tom will build into a solid set of wheel capable of withstanding years of riding. This system can be used with a number of ANT+ compatible head units such as the Garmin Edge GPS units.
We recommend the use of a softer brake pad with winter training wheels to maximise rim life and improve brake modulation in poor conditions. We can supply Swissstop BXP pads which we think are the best available for alloy rims.
We usually have Powertap G3 hubs in stock in Campagnolo or Shimano / SRAM 11 speed freehubs – handbuilt by Strada to 0.05mm tolerance to match your physique and riding style. Free truing for life policy. 1 year warranty.
