These PMP hubs are made using 7075 Ergal alloy. The front hub weighs 112 grams and the rear weighs 287 grams. They are Campagnolo 11 speed or Shimano/SRAM compatible. The PMP road hub is a great choice for building a hand built wheel with a more supple ride than factory manufactured wheels can provide while keeping them light and smooth thanks to their 4 shielded bearings. Popular for cyclo cross, daily riding and their ability to handle tough conditions they look good and have plenty of metal on the flanges for radial spoking patterns on the front and the rear non drive side.
PMP was founded in 1979. Today the company has about 60 employees and specializes in high quality machining for many applications including cycling, aerospace, medicine, energy and automotive. PMP has acquired a large range of experience in working with materials from plastic to titanium allowing them to create precision made cycling components like their road and MTB hubs.
This page will contain more info + photos on PMP Road hubs from Italy shortly. We can supply these in silver or black for your next wheelset and you can read some lovely alloy wheelsets Strada hand build with PMP hubs in the meantime though.
